10th International Symposium for Fish Parasitology
and
Australian Society for Parasitology Annual Conference

2020 ISFPX  Conference is postponed until after 2022

2021 ASP Conference will be run as a virtual conference

Due to the current situation worldwide in relation to COVID-19 and Australian International border closures the ISFP conference organising committee wishes to inform you that, regretfully, we feel we have no other option but to postpone the 2020 ISFPX Conference until after 2022. We will advise you as soon as we know when the ISFPX conference will take place. The 2021 ASP Annual Conference will be held as a fully online conference please see the ASP website for more details. Please contact the Conference Coordinator, Lisa Jones, with any queries.

Dear Friends and colleagues,

We wish to advise you that the 10th International Symposium for Fish Parasitology and Australian Society for Parasitology Annual Conference due to take place in Cairns in July 2021 has been postponed due to COVID19 and travel restrictions for international travel to Australia and domestic travel within Australia.

An explanation about our logo created by Storm Martin: the creatures inspecting the text are cleaner wrasses (a little stylised). If you snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef while you are in Cairns, we guarantee that you will see these little fish (up to about 10 cm long) in action “cleaning” parasites from other fishes.

We look forward to advising you about when the ISFPX will go ahead.
